About

Young people meeting at summer camps and encountering Jesus in practical works of charity along with the witness of other young believers, are creating Generation Hope - a faith filled and joyous sign of God's mercy for every generation. This is a new movement of believers who know that an authentic Christian faith requires active works of charity and to be rooted in prayer - believers who know deeply that "We love because He loved us first." (1 John 4:19)

The Journey

The Generation Hope Journey will normally begin by attending our summer camps with a school group. These amazing camps are focused on having a lot of fun - in canoes, on zip-lines and at the top of tall trees - whilst coming to know young adult Christians who lead these events and witness to how God has worked in their own lives. Those who wish to, can then join a Generation Hope group in their school - or help set one up! Within these groups, Gen Hoper's will learn more about their faith, carry out works of charity (especially through Mary's Meals, an organisation that feeds some of the poorest children in the world and through which the work of Generation Hope was born) and pray with each other. Various other opportunities will take place along the way - pilgrimages, various events, learning projects and volunteering opportunities. Those who wish can start to become leaders of Gen Hope themselves - eventually coming back to lead the kind of camps where it first began for them.

Mary's Meals

Mary's Meals provides a daily meal in a place of education for the worlds poorest children across eighteen countries. The work of Generation Hope was born from this charity.
